That’s because studies show that when you buy from an independent, locally-owned business, rather than a nationally-owned chain or business, for every dollar you spend, twice as much will be reinvested in your community by that local business. That’s a great return! A sustainable community needs a sustainable economy, and that starts with locally-owned independent businesses.

A multitude of small businesses, each selecting products and unique services based not on a national sales plan but on their own interests and the needs of their local customers, guarantees a much broader range of product choices.
